5G has now entered Tibet? China Mobile collaborates with ZTE to continuously strengthen the network infrastructure in Tibet.

In the "Digital Roadshow" of China Mobile in collaboration with ZTE in Tibet, Sina Technology and others visited the local communication network construction achievements on site and witnessed the changes brought by 5G/5G-A networks to local work and life. It is reported that China Mobile Tibet Company was established in June 2000 and devoted itself to the construction of Tibet's communication. Currently, Tibet Mobile has invested over 20 billion yuan to build more than 9,000 5G base stations, achieving full coverage of 5G in cities, counties, and townships, with a coverage rate of over 86% in administrative villages. In order to support the digital transformation of various industries in Tibet, China Mobile has also invested 739 million yuan in building a data center in the Lhasa High-tech Zone, and is fully promoting the "Algorithm Mount Everest" action plan in Tibet. In recent years, new products such as 5G new calls and FTTR have been launched, promoting the integration of projects such as the 5G private network for Yulong Copper Mine and the Nagqu government cloud in multiple fields.
