The World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence will open on July 26, 2025.

On July 10th, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government Information Office held a press conference to introduce the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence. Zhang Ying, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government and Director of the Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission, stated that the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence will be held from July 26th to 28th at the Pudong Expo Center, Expo Exhibition Hall, and Xuhui West Bank simultaneously.
