In 2024, the sales scale of the Top 100 supermarkets is approximately 900 billion yuan, an increase of 0.3% year-on-year; the total number of stores is 25,200, a decrease of 9.8% year-on-year. There are 42 companies with a year-on-year increase in sales, and 25 companies with an increase in the number of stores. 14 companies have both sales and store numbers increasing.
