On July 9, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission jointly launched the "Consumer Protection Against Fraud Charter 3" ("Charter 3.0"), collaborating with several large international technology companies and telecommunications companies (referred to as "participating institutions") to combat online fraud. The participating institutions in "Charter 3" include TikTok, Google, Meta, Microsoft, WeChat, Weibo, Xiao Hong Shu, China Mobile Hong Kong, China Unicom Hong Kong, among others.
