In the first half of the year, the national power grid's inter-provincial electricity trading volume exceeded 570 billion kilowatt-hours.

According to State Grid, from January to June, the company's electricity trading volume steadily increased. The volume of market-based electricity trading between provinces reached 573.1 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 8.7% year on year; the volume of ultra-high voltage direct current trading reached 292.3 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 14.4% year on year; and the volume of clean energy trading between provinces reached 351.7 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 23.1% year on year, showing growth in ultra-high voltage direct current, clean energy trading between provinces, and market-based electricity trading between provinces.
