Yunnan Weixin County Heilong Village suspected heavy rain cause 5 people missing.

From 7:00 on July 8th to 14:00 on July 9th, Zhaotong City in Yunnan Province was hit by widespread heavy rain and locally severe rainstorm, with the highest rainfall in Weixin County reaching 254.4 millimeters, breaking the record for the highest daily rainfall at the station since it was established in 1958. According to preliminary surveys, heavy rain destroyed 2 houses in Hailong Village, Luobu Town, Weixin County, and 5 people are suspected to be missing. On the evening of July 8th, after receiving a warning message from "1262", the local government relocated 4 people from the affected houses to a nearby household for safety. When conducting another round of inspections on the morning of the 9th, it was discovered that the 4 people who had been relocated on the evening of the 8th and a person from that household were missing, bringing the total to 5 missing individuals.
