The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has released four national ecological and environmental standards, including "Specifications for the Analysis of Sources of Particulate Matter in Environmental Air and Open Source Dust Sampling Technology."

In order to implement the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Law on the Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, strengthen the prevention and control of atmospheric pollution, protect and improve the ecological environment, safeguard human health, standardize the analysis of sources of environmental particulate matter, the following 4 standards have been approved as national ecological environment standards and are hereby released. The names and numbers of the standards are as follows: 1. "Technical Specification for Open Source Dust Sampling Technology for Environmental Air Particulate Matter Source Analysis" 2. "Technical Specification for Automatic Weighing of Particulate Filters in Environmental Air Particulate Matter Source Analysis" 3. "Determination of Left-handed Pectin, Mannan and Xylogalactan in Particulate Matter by Ion Chromatography in Environmental Air Particulate Matter Source Analysis" 4. "Determination of Left-handed Pectin, Mannan and Xylogalactan in Particulate Matter by Derivatization/Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry in Environmental Air Particulate Matter Source Analysis" The above standards will be implemented from August 1, 2025.
