The ACMI2025 Electrolyte Innovation Development Forum and Solid-State Battery Seminar was held in Quzhou from July 9th to 11th. Guotai Haitong Securities believes that solid-state batteries have high energy density and safety, and can meet the special needs of the automotive, aerospace, and humanoid robot industries. Currently, semi-solid-state batteries have been installed in vehicles, and the industrialization process is ahead of solid-state batteries. In cost-sensitive industries such as humanoid robots and aerospace, the application of solid-state batteries is earlier than in the automotive industry. With the improvement of the overall performance of solid-state batteries and the acceleration of the industrialization process, solid-state batteries will gradually be applied in a variety of fields, and the development of materials related to solid-state batteries is promising in the long term. Dongwu Securities believes that the essential difference between solid-state batteries and liquid batteries lies in the form of the electrolyte. Solid-state batteries have advantages such as high energy density and safety. Currently, semi-solid-state batteries have been mass-installed in vehicles, and it is expected that full solid-state batteries will begin small-scale installation in 2027, and will be mass-applied in the energy storage field after 2030, opening up application space for aerospace economy and humanoid robots. Overseas vehicle manufacturers and battery manufacturers are accelerating their layout of solid-state batteries in an attempt to overtake in the corner. China's policies actively promote the industrialization of solid-state batteries, and most companies plan to achieve small-scale installation or mass production targets between 2027 and 2028.
