State Council Taiwan Affairs Office: The Eighth Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum will be held in Zhejiang in mid-July.

Spokesperson of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Chen Binhua, stated on July 9 that the 8th Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum will be held from July 10 to 15 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, as well as in Jiaxing, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, and other places. The forum opening ceremony and the launch of the Zhejiang-Taiwan Youth Exchange Season will be held on the morning of July 11 in Hangzhou. Former Chairperson of the Chinese Nationalist Party and Chairperson of the Chinese Youth Peace Education Foundation, Hong Xiuzhu, will attend the forum by invitation. Around 1,000 guests from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, as well as youth representatives from various sectors, are expected to participate in the forum activities.
