The National Oceanic Forecasting Center issued a wave alert removal notice at 08:00 on July 9th: Due to the impact of Typhoon "Danas" (the fourth typhoon of the year), from the night of July 5th to July 8th, waves of 5 to 8 meters were observed in the northeast South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait, with waves reaching 3 to 5 meters in the southwest East China Sea. Waves of 2.5 to 4 meters were reported in the coastal waters of Zhejiang and Fujian, and waves of 1.5 to 2.5 meters were observed in the coastal waters of Guangdong. Currently, the wave heights in the affected areas have decreased below the alert level, so the wave alert has been lifted. This notice is hereby issued.
