Pure benzene futures and options listed on the market, with multiple industry chain enterprises participating in the first day of trading

On July 8th, pure benzene futures and options were launched on the Dalian Commodity Exchange. Pure benzene futures began trading at 9:00, while pure benzene options began trading at 21:00. Several leading companies in the industry chain participated in the first day of trading, covering various aspects such as production, trade, and consumption of pure benzene. It is believed that pure benzene futures and options will provide the industry chain with essential tools for hedging price risks, while also helping to establish a public, transparent, and authoritative "Chinese price." This will enhance the international influence of China's pure benzene prices and increase the country's influence in setting international trade prices for pure benzene.
