Chinese smartphone quarterly activation volume: Xiaomi VO top three, Huawei increased by 11%, Apple fifth.
According to the latest data released by BCI, in the second quarter of 2025, Chinese manufacturers swept the top four in the mainland China mobile phone market in terms of activation volume. Among the specific manufacturers, Xiaomi topped the Chinese smartphone market with an activation volume of 114.176 million units, occupying 16.63% of the market share, a year-on-year increase of 7.39%. Following closely behind is vivo, ranking second with an activation volume of 1123.93 million units and a market share of 16.37%, but a year-on-year decrease of 5.95%. OPPO ranked third with an activation volume of 1117.28 million units and a market share of 16.27%, with a year-on-year growth rate of 10.48%. Huawei ranked fourth with an activation volume of 1104.01 million units and a market share of 16.08%, with a year-on-year growth rate as high as 10.96%. Apple ranked fifth with an activation volume of 1103.79 million units and a market share of 16.08%, with a year-on-year growth rate of 8.46%.
