The White House in the United States: Trump intends to extend the suspension of "equal tariffs" until August 1.
White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt confirmed at a press conference on the afternoon of the 7th that President Trump plans to sign an executive order to extend the "equal tariffs" postponement period by 90 days, delaying the implementation time from July 9 to August 1. US Treasury Secretary Besent, in an interview with US cable news network on the 6th, stated that Trump will send a letter to trading partners this week informing them of the tariff rates that the US plans to impose. For countries that have not reached a trade agreement with the US before August 1, the tariff rates will revert to the "equal tariffs" level announced in April.
