The "customer service" informed Ms. Wang that the amount to be transferred was just a string of numbers to unfreeze an account, and that it would not actually be transferred. Due to the "failed transfer" on her first attempt, Ms. Wang lowered her guard and, under the continuous urging and inducement of the "customer service", eventually transferred 198,198 yuan.
