The General Office of the People's Government of Shanghai Municipality recently issued the "Several Measures to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Software and Information Services Industry in Shanghai", which mentioned the promotion of the development of the digital content industry in Shanghai. It supports the construction of digital content industry agglomeration areas in areas with conditions, promotes content production, product services, and operation and distribution of digital games, digital films and TV shows, digital music, online live streaming, short dramas, short videos, and other content in the field. It also innovates incubation, registration, trading, and financing hierarchical service models, initiates policy pilot projects to treat game products developed by foreign-funded game companies in Shanghai as domestic games, and supports digital content projects to conduct pilot projects for copyright financing.
