According to information released on Meituan's intranet, as of 10:54 PM on July 5th, the daily orders for Meituan's instant retail have surpassed 120 million, with over 1 billion orders being for food and beverage. At 8:45 PM that evening, the Meituan intranet had shown that daily orders for instant retail had reached 1 billion. July 5th marks the beginning of the peak summer consumption season, as well as the traditional promotion season for food delivery. Last summer, Meituan's order peak exceeded 90 million.
