As of now, the number of tickets booked for the first month of the summer travel season has exceeded 21 million, with a significant increase in bookings for "summer escape routes". A researcher at a booking platform's big data research institute explained that regions with average temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius, such as Northwest, Yunnan, and Northeast China, have become the top choices for summer getaways. Taking the route from Beijing to Urumqi as an example, ticket bookings have increased by 33% compared to last year, with prices dropping by nearly 20%.
