In recent days, many places in Shandong province, such as Weifang, Liaocheng, Dezhou, and Zibo, have continued to experience high temperatures, leading to a continuous increase in the power load of the Shandong power grid. According to the State Grid Shandong Provincial Power Company, at 13:09 on July 3rd, the power load reached 1.1483 billion kilowatts in Shandong power grid. This is the highest load in history during the summer period of this year, with an increase of 310,000 kilowatts compared to the highest load in the summer of 2024, and the time is 1 month earlier. In order to actively respond to the impact of high temperatures, Shandong Power Grid has coordinated the use of new energy sources, conventional power units within the province, and external power resources to ensure the stable operation of the power grid and reliable power supply during the peak summer period.
