On July 5th local time, a boat carrying 12 people had an accident near the Romanian city of Sulina at the eastern end of the Danube River, resulting in 5 injuries. The injured have been taken to the hospital. It is understood that the boat struck the bank of the Danube River and the people on board made emergency calls for help. Local emergency rescue departments dispatched medical boats and ambulances to the scene. The cause of the accident is currently unclear.
