Official announcement: "23 deceased individuals received elderly benefits in violation of regulations"

The Civil Affairs Bureau of Huairen City, Shanxi Province issued a public announcement on July 3 regarding the situation of deceased individuals improperly receiving elderly subsidies: Since our city launched special rectification and practical projects, the Civil Affairs Bureau has solidly carried out self-inspection and investigation work in the field of civil affairs services. In the distribution of elderly subsidies, our bureau shared data with the Public Security, Health, and Sports Departments of the city, and promptly conducted data comparison. In the comparison, it was found that 23 people had died while receiving elderly subsidies. After verification and confirmation by the township streets, our bureau promptly recovered the elderly subsidies that were improperly obtained. The situation of improperly receiving and recovering elderly subsidies is announced as follows: 1. 4 individuals from Jinshatan improperly received 2700 yuan, which has been fully returned; 2. 1 individual from Wujiaqiao improperly received 200 yuan, which has been fully returned; 3. 1 individual from Yunzhong Street improperly received 600 yuan, which has been fully returned; 4. 2 individuals from Yunxi Street improperly received 2000 yuan, of which 1800 yuan has been returned and the rest is being recovered; 5. 3 individuals from Xinjiayuan Township improperly received 2950 yuan, which has been fully returned; 6. 1 individual from Qinhe Township improperly received 700 yuan, which has been fully returned; 7. 3 individuals from Maojiazhao Town improperly received 1000 yuan, which has been fully returned; 8. 1 individual from Hetou Township improperly received 1650 yuan, which has been fully returned; 9. 7 individuals from Haibeitou Township improperly received 8300 yuan, which has been fully returned. As of now, a total of 23 individuals have returned 19900 yuan, with one person still owing 200 yuan, which is still being recovered.
