In The 2025 Guiyang International Forum on Ecological Civilization discusses "Global Development and Green Transformation".

On the morning of July 5th, 2025, the Guiyang International Forum on Ecological Civilization opened in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. About 800 guests, including domestic and foreign political leaders, former political leaders, and heads of relevant international organizations, attended the forum. The theme of this forum is "Harmonious Coexistence of Humans and Nature - Co-creating Global Green Transformation." The forum includes opening ceremonies, off-site visits, green investment activities, and main guest provincial series events, focusing on four main areas: "Working Together for Global Ecological Civilization and Sustainable Development," "Addressing Climate Change," "Biodiversity Conservation," and "Diverse Collaborative Governance." A total of 20 theme forums are set up. This forum also innovatively hosts activities for the release of new environmental protection products and technologies, promoting and showcasing cutting-edge technologies in the fields of new energy and solid waste treatment, and establishing a platform for "technology selection - results showcase - supply-demand connection" to accelerate the application of advanced technology achievements.
