On July 5th at 18:00, the China Meteorological Administration continued to issue a yellow warning for high temperatures: It is expected that on July 6th, during the day, there will be temperatures over 35C in the southern parts of North China, Huang-Huai, Jiang-Huai, Jiang-Han, Jiangnan, Chongqing, most of South China, as well as in the southern Xinjiang basin and the Junggar basin, among other regions. In some areas, such as the southern Xinjiang basin, southern Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Hubei, the eastern and northern parts of Hunan, the middle and northern parts of Jiangxi, the middle and northern parts of Zhejiang, and the northern parts of Guangxi, temperatures could reach 37-39C, while in some localized areas, such as the southern Xinjiang basin and the Turpan basin, the northern part of the Shandong Peninsula, and the northern parts of Jiangsu and Anhui, it could exceed 40C.
