"Danas" generates Fujian to raise typhoon emergency response to level III
The journalist learned from the Fujian Province Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters that in the early morning today, the South China Sea tropical depression has intensified into the fourth typhoon of this year, "Danas". At 10 o'clock, the center of "Danas" was about 405 kilometers southwest of the Emei peninsula in Taiwan, with maximum wind speeds near the center reaching level 9. It is expected that the typhoon center will first hover in place with little movement, and then gradually turn to the northeast in the afternoon to nighttime, gradually increasing in intensity, reaching the strength of a typhoon, and gradually approaching the southwestern part of Taiwan and the northern coastal areas of Fujian Province. The Fujian Provincial Meteorological Bureau upgraded the "typhoon warning" to level III at 11 o'clock on the 5th, and the Fujian Provincial Flood Control Headquarters upgraded the emergency response for typhoon prevention to level III at 11 o'clock on the 5th. The Fujian Provincial Flood Control Headquarters requires all local departments to closely monitor the dynamics and impacts of typhoon "Danas", adjust their response in a timely manner, carefully deploy prevention measures, organize evacuations decisively, and solidly carry out response work.
