According to a comprehensive report by American media, just hours before President Trump signed the "Build Back Better" Act into law on the 4th, Elon Musk, a former ally of Trump and founder of Tesla, conducted a survey on social media about forming a third party. According to CBS News, it is currently unclear whether Musk will follow through on this commitment, but the idea is easier said than done. American election expert Brett Kapell said that if Musk decides to form a new political party, he will need to navigate through complex state laws, time-consuming ballot access rules, and intense lawsuits.
