China Meteorological Administration continues to release a blue alert for severe convective weather at 10:00 on July 5th.

It is expected that from 14:00 on July 5 to 14:00 on July 6, some areas in the central and southern parts of the northeastern region, northern parts of the southwestern region, and other areas will experience severe thunderstorms with winds of force 8 or above or hail. Among them, some areas in the southern part of Jilin province and central part of Liaoning province will experience severe thunderstorms with winds of force 10 or above, with maximum wind force reaching force 11 or above; Some areas in the northeastern region, northeastern part of North China, southern part of southwestern region, and eastern part of South China will experience short-term heavy rainfall with hourly rainfall exceeding 20 millimeters. Among them, some areas in the northeastern part of Heilongjiang province, central part of Jilin province, and eastern part of Liaoning province will experience hourly rainfall exceeding 50 millimeters, with the maximum reaching over 70 millimeters. It is expected that the main impact period of severe convective weather will be from afternoon to early night.
