The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the release of the "Guidelines for the Protection of User Rights and Compliance Management of Mobile Internet Application Services" by the China Internet Association and the Institute of Information and Communications.

In order to guide internet enterprises to enhance their awareness of operating services compliance and service levels, effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of users, on July 3, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the China Internet Association and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology to release the "Guidelines for the Protection and Compliance Management of User Rights in Mobile Internet Application Services" in Beijing. The "Guidelines" comprehensively review the current legal and policy requirements, guide enterprises to establish a sound compliance management system, and actively create a healthy and orderly service environment. Next, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will organize the China Internet Association, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and related enterprises to effectively promote the implementation of the "Guidelines", guide the industry to enhance compliance awareness, regulate operating service behaviors, establish a compliance system, continuously improve the level of user rights protection, and allow users to have a greater sense of achievement, happiness, and security in digital consumer services.
