The China Internet Finance Association held a symposium on anti-money laundering practices in online small loans in Beijing.
In order to implement the newly revised Anti-Money Laundering Law of the People's Republic of China and promote the implementation of the Interim Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Small Loan Companies, the China Internet Finance Association recently organized a symposium in Beijing to conduct in-depth research on the progress of anti-money laundering practices in online small loans. The meeting focused on the exchange of views on the "Guidelines for Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Work of Online Small Loan Institutions" previously released by the association. Representatives from 9 participating institutions combined their own anti-money laundering practices to suggest revisions to the "Guidelines" and discussed the difficulties and challenges faced in anti-money laundering practices. Comrades from the Anti-Money Laundering Bureau of the People's Bank of China and experts from the Internet Finance Anti-Money Laundering Special Committee of the association carefully listened to the exchange of views, provided detailed answers, and gave relevant opinions and suggestions.
