Central Bank: Actively guide financial support for the protection of natural and biological diversity.

On the morning of July 4th, the Green Finance Reform and Innovation Exchange Conference, organized by the Green Finance Professional Committee of the China Financial Society, the People's Government of Huzhou City, and the Zhejiang Financial Society, was held in Huzhou, Zhejiang. Wang Xin, Director of the Research Bureau of the People's Bank of China, read the keynote speech of Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China, Lu Lei. Lu Lei stated that in the next stage, the People's Bank of China will gather various forces to promote the development of green finance. In recent years, the People's Bank of China, together with relevant departments, has continuously improved the green financial system, making significant progress in strengthening top-level design, enhancing policy support, deepening standard system construction, promoting sustainable information disclosure, enriching financial product services, and deepening international cooperation. Lu Lei emphasized that in the next stage, the People's Bank of China will focus on promoting green finance development. Specifically, they will promote effective integration of green finance and transitional finance, actively guide financial support for the protection of nature and biodiversity, deepen international cooperation in green finance, and support and guide regional reform and innovation in green finance, including supporting the construction of valuable exploration bases in Huzhou, Zhejiang.
