Peng Hongpu, former president of Guangxi Construction Vocational and Technical College, has been expelled from the party.

After investigation, Peng Hongpu lost his ideal faith, betrayed his original mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the party, and resisted organizational review; violated the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulations, accepted invitations that may affect the fair execution of official duties; breached the integrity line, illegally accepted gifts and consumption cards; became greedy, engaged in power-for-money transactions, used his position to profit from others in the purchase of company shares, project contracting, and other aspects, and illegally accepted huge sums of money.
