Due to rainfall, from 8 a.m. on July 3 to 8 a.m. on July 4, 16 rivers in Yunnan, Sichuan, Gansu, Shanxi, and Heilongjiang provinces, including the Rui River, the Min River, the Zagu River, the Jin River, the Stone Pavilion River, the Pingtong River, the Tongkou River, the Anchang River, the Kaijiang River, the Pingluo River, the Baishui River, the Rangshui River, the Yusheshui River, and the Youhao River, experienced flooding exceeding the warning level, with the maximum exceeding the warning level by 1.62 meters. The Ministry of Water Resources has issued targeted warnings to nine provinces including Hebei, Shanxi, and Inner Mongolia, reminding them to be prepared for floods in small and medium-sized rivers, mountain floods, and to ensure the safety of reservoirs and embankments during the flood season.
