Tang Wenhong, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, stated at a press conference that next, the Ministry of Commerce will work together with local governments and various departments to actively align with international high-standard economic and trade rules in the free trade pilot zones, while maintaining the bottom line of risk, to further promote higher-level institutional opening trials. "Thinning out" means finishing one batch, duplicating one batch, and studying another batch at the same time, and conducting deeper pilot projects. Promote higher-level trade and investment liberalization, increase pressure testing on market access, and orderly expand the opening up of sectors such as telecommunications, the internet, and healthcare. Focus on further exploring key areas such as property rights protection, industry subsidies, environmental standards, labor protection, government procurement, e-commerce, finance, etc., to create a market-oriented, rule of law, international first-class business environment. Further facilitate the entry of foreign personnel into China for business, study, and tourism, and introduce more facilitation measures in terms of entry, residence, medical treatment, payment, etc.
