Since the opening of the ETF Connect for three years, the range of products continues to expand. As of the latest data, the number of southbound and northbound ETFs included in the ETF Connect has reached 265, with product types gradually expanding from broad-based products in the early stages to various industry themes and style factor products, meeting diversified asset allocation needs. Hong Kong Stock Connect ETFs have benefited from this year's Hong Kong stock market fluctuations and inflows of southbound funds. Taking Southbound Dongying Hang Seng Technology Index ETF as an example, since the establishment of the ETF Connect, it has received a total increase of more than 28 billion Hong Kong dollars in southbound funds. As of the first half of the year, the market share of the southbound fund holding scale of this fund reached 87%.
