A video recording of lightning striking the Lakhta Center, located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland in St. Petersburg, Russia, during a heavy rainstorm on the night of July 3rd, has been captured. The Lakhta Center is the headquarters of the Russian natural gas industry company Gazprom, with a main building height of 462 meters, making it the tallest skyscraper in Europe and the northernmost in the world.
