Fujian initiates level IV emergency response for typhoons.

The tropical disturbance in the South China Sea developed into a tropical depression at 8 a.m. on July 4th, and is likely to strengthen into the fourth typhoon of the year, "Danas", from tonight to the morning of the 5th. The Fujian Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued a "Typhoon Warning Level IV" at 11 a.m. on July 4th. According to the "Emergency Response Plan for Flood Control, Drought Resistance, and Typhoon Prevention in Fujian Province", the Fujian Provincial Defense Command decided to activate the Level IV typhoon emergency response at 11 a.m. on July 4th.
