According to the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration, Hong Kong-related innovative entities can now apply for a fast-track patent pre-examination service at the Shenzhen Intellectual Property Protection Center of the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration starting from June 30th. This marks the official launch of the country's first patent fast-track pre-examination service for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, signaling a new breakthrough in the coordinated development of intellectual property rights between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. According to the relevant person in charge, with the help of the Shenzhen Intellectual Property Protection Center's patent fast-track pre-examination service, Hong Kong enterprises, universities, research institutions, and other innovative entities can quickly obtain intellectual property protection in the mainland, significantly shortening the patent authorization period, helping accelerate the transformation and utilization of Hong Kong's scientific research achievements, and promoting the integration of Hong Kong's innovative resources into the national development.
