The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on July 3 regarding the average fuel consumption of Chinese passenger car companies and new energy vehicle scores for 2024. The data shows that in 2024, 117 passenger car companies in China produced/imported a total of 23.189 million passenger cars, with an industry average curb weight of 1712 kilograms, an actual average fuel consumption of 3.31 liters per 100 kilometers, an average carbon dioxide emissions of 78.47 grams per kilometer, positive fuel consumption credits of 52.852 million points, negative fuel consumption credits of 5.847 million points, positive new energy vehicle credits of 17.288 million points, and negative new energy vehicle credits of 1.01 million points.
