Zhang Xiangwei, Director of the Planning and Planning Division of the Ministry of Water Resources, stated at the press conference that the Ministry of Water Resources will aim to achieve the goals of "comprehensive system, safe and reliable, intensive and efficient, green and intelligent, smooth circulation, orderly regulation". It will accelerate the construction of key national water network projects, especially major water projects such as the diversion of water from the Minjiang River to the Yangtze River in Sichuan and the first phase of water resources allocation in the Liao Dong Peninsula. Promoting the integrated development of water networks at all levels, accelerating the construction of a safe and resilient modern water network, optimizing water resources allocation, and enhancing water resource allocation capacity and water supply guarantee capacity.
