According to Tang Shui, Hong Kong's private economy continued to contract. The seasonally adjusted Standard & Poor's Global Hong Kong Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) fell from 49 in May to 47.8, indicating a deteriorating business environment for five consecutive months, with the largest decline since April 2022.
