On July 3, Chengdu experienced heavy rainfall. From 3 pm on July 3 to midnight on July 4, the city experienced exceptionally heavy rain at 1 station, heavy rain at 60 stations, and rain at 61 stations. Due to the heavy rain, including some sections of roads with flooded water, including 7 tunnels, the Chengdu traffic police implemented temporary controls. According to the latest feedback from the Chengdu Water Affairs Bureau, with the completion of the Doufuyan Tunnel in the Jinniu District, all affected roads in the urban area have now resumed normal traffic flow.
