Citibank says high-net-worth clients who are disillusioned with the United States are turning their attention to the United Kingdom.

A senior executive from Citigroup revealed that despite the UK increasing taxes on the wealthy, it still attracted attention from wealthy clients who were disappointed with the United States. "For clients within and outside the UK, it is a two-way flow," said Andy Sieg, Global Wealth Head of Citigroup. While some people are leaving the UK, there are also those who are "looking at the changes happening in the United States, thinking that the UK may be a place where their children may want to go to university and spend more time."
