United States Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren questioned the $16 million settlement reached between the Paramount Global Company and US President Trump on the 2nd, saying that it "may be blatant bribery" and urging an investigation. Trump sued Paramount's subsidiary CBS last October, accusing its program "60 Minutes" of "deceptive" editing of an interview with then Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris to "tilt the scales towards the Democratic Party" in the election.
