Insiders say that Samsung Electronics will postpone the completion of a semiconductor factory in Texas, USA, because the South Korean chip maker is struggling to find customers for the products at that factory. Samsung had indicated that it would invest over $37 billion in Texas in the coming years. In December of last year, under the Chips for America Act aimed at enhancing America's technological leadership, Samsung received a grant of up to $47 billion from the Biden administration. This investment includes the construction of a factory in Taylor, Texas, aimed at producing cutting-edge chips, originally scheduled to start production in 2024. This timeline has now been delayed to 2026.
