According to the Economic Daily APP, on July 3, the Ministry of Commerce held a routine press conference. A reporter asked whether China plans to extend the anti-dumping investigation on EU brandy imports before the upcoming China-EU leaders' summit later this month or if the current temporary 39% tariff will become permanent. In response, the Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Gao Feng said that this issue involves China's anti-dumping investigation on imported brandy from the EU and the Ministry of Commerce has responded to this issue several times before. According to Chinese laws and WTO rules, the Chinese investigating authorities will make a final decision in the near future. For updates, please visit the Ministry of Commerce website.
