On July 3rd, Vice President of China Han Zheng attended the opening ceremony of the 13th World Peace Forum at Tsinghua University and delivered a speech. Han Zheng stated that currently, the world is facing rapid changes, with international and regional hotspot issues emerging one after another, posing serious challenges to world peace and development. President Xi Jinping has put forward important concepts of building a community with a shared future for mankind, as well as global development initiatives, global security initiatives, and global civilization initiatives, providing Chinese solutions to major issues related to human peace and development. Han Zheng pointed out that this year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. China is willing to work with other countries to jointly promote world peace and prosperity, and to build a better world together.
