In the first five months of this year, the total export value of automotive goods in the country increased by 6.5% year-on-year.

On July 3rd, according to data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers from the General Administration of Customs, the total import and export value of car goods in May this year was 250.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 8.5% compared to the previous month and an increase of 3.2% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the import amount was 43.8 billion US dollars, an increase of 18.4% compared to the previous month but a decrease by 25% compared to the same period last year; the export amount was 206.7 billion US dollars, an increase of 6.6% compared to the previous month and an increase of 12.2% compared to the same period last year.
