Among the constituent stocks, Power Grid Corporation of India opened 1.07% higher, Tata Motors rose 0.89%, and Mahindra & Mahindra Information Technology gained 0.8%; on the downside, Industrial Bank of India opened 1.03% lower, Hindustan Unilever fell 0.46%, and Kotak Bank dropped 0.36%.
