Under the guidance of the market supervision department in Shanghai, 5 representatives of direct selling companies in Shanghai and 5 representatives of internet platform companies have jointly signed a "Memorandum of Cooperation". The memorandum mainly includes three aspects: maintaining the quality of products in Shanghai, protecting consumer rights, and opposing "price wars" in the direct selling sector. Both parties are exploring more in-depth ways of commercial cooperation to achieve a win-win situation. The Shanghai market supervision department revealed that currently, under the guidance of the local market supervision department, 277 illegal e-commerce shops involved in "direct selling black market" activities have been closed, and 4970 product links have been taken down.
