Internet business revenue has continued to grow steadily. From January to May, the Internet and related service enterprises above a certain scale (hereinafter referred to as Internet enterprises) completed Internet business revenue of 773.5 billion yuan, an increase of 0.9% year-on-year. The decrease in total profits continues to narrow. From January to May, scale-above Internet enterprises achieved a total profit of 69.2 billion yuan, a decrease of 2.2% year-on-year. The momentum of research and development expenditures is slowing down. From January to May, scale-above Internet enterprises invested a total of 39.06 billion yuan in research and development expenses, an increase of 4.1% year-on-year, a decrease of 0.7 percentage points compared to January-April.
