This year, the peak delivery of LNG ships has arrived, with some companies' orders scheduled all the way to 2031.

In recent years, there has been a high demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG) ships. As the delivery time for orders approaches, this year there will be a peak in LNG ship deliveries. Shipyards have stated that the number of LNG ships delivered this year will reach a historical high. The deputy director of the Shanghai Shipbuilding Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, Huadong Zhonghua Development Research Institute, stated that it is expected to deliver more than 10 LNG ships this year. Currently there are about 60 LNG ship orders in hand, with a total value of about 150 billion yuan, and the current schedule is booked until 2031.
