In the first half of the year, more than 4.55 billion passengers were transported on the Yangtze River Delta Railway.

On July 1st, it was learned from the China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. that in the first half of 2025, the Yangtze River Delta Railway sent more than 455 million passengers, with an average daily passenger volume of more than 2.51 million, an increase of over 4.6% compared to the same period last year. From the trend of passenger flow, the number of passengers sent in the second quarter increased significantly compared to the first quarter, with nearly 242 million passengers sent in the first three months. Among them, 4.268 million passengers were sent on May 1st, setting a new record for the daily passenger volume of the Yangtze River Delta Railway.
